Soymilk advances where plain milk could not tread

Day 4 Continues: Cup-2, Bottle-1.

I got the vanilla and chocolate soymilk from the store this morning. The vanilla kind was actually marketed as "kids very vanilla" so I decided to go with that instead of the regular vanilla. As with the cup with a straw, I talked up the vanilla milk as super yummy. Almost like eating icecream (which she had the other night at Cold Stone, compliments of her birthday). I poured a tiny sip in her cup before we went up to naps a few minutes ago. She took a tentative sip but pronounced it was good and she liked it. I asked if she wanted more, and she agreed. She drank about half of what I poured her. Although again, it was not as vigorous as she does her bobbie. Still, this is a big success since the past few days we've only been able to get her to drink maybe one or two sips. We'll see how we do at bedtime tonight.

Ps. I tasted the "Very Vanilla" soymilk-it's sort of like drinking pure sugar...
