Trying a new tactic...

Day 4. The troops continue to be at a ceasefire and standstill...

Today I think I will head over to Jewel and pick up some chocolate and vanilla soymilk for Anne. Not that I think that soymilk is better for her (in fact, I learned in my breastfeeding class that drinking/eating soy products everyday in large quantities might be very harmful for children because soy has a large amount of estrogen-so we could be giving our kids estrogen before they are supposed to get it, but that's a whole 'nother blog and line of thought...), it's just seems the easiest solution. John loves chocolate soymilk and he'll also drink vanilla soymilk in his cereal. So since soymilk has both vanilla and chocolate flavors, (and milk only has chocolate) I figured, we'll just stick with one type of milk. Anyway, I'm going to get the soymilk today and try it out in the cup. Maybe if she's drinking something super yummy she'll drink "milk" in her cup. I figure if it goes down well (pardon the pun) then I can slowly wean her off of flavored milk by gradually adding plain milk to her cup and see if I can get her drinking milk like a regular big girl. Although, if she never drank milk again, she'd be fine because she eats an unusually large amount of cheese and yogurt on a daily basis...
