My struggle

I just read this on a Parenting email I get every week for Jamie:
"When my little one is having a hard time, I drop everything — no dishes, no laundry, no nothin' — and just cuddle, play, read, whatever makes him happy. Sure, the house is a wreck, but the house can wait; my son can't."

Oh how I wish that were me...that is something I am working on...to be present with my children, to enjoy the moments with them, to let the other things wait their turn. I have struggled with this, being present, not thinking about other things, not multi-tasking since I had Anne and Jamie has brought it even more to light. Hopefully I can think of this quote and try and live it out.
