5 months

Jamie is 5 months old now! He sit up if he is propped forward on his hands, he can get up on his hands and knees (but has yet to realize he can make forward motion), and he has started eating some baby food-bananas and apples in the mesh feeder as well as bonafide baby applesauce. I guess mama cooking and pureeing his food is just around the corner! Here's a few pictures of my little guy:

Official 5 month shot-look at how much more personality you can see in this picture. The pictures from previous months he is just a baby propped up in a chair, but in this one, I can really see a person starting to emerge.

Jamie "sitting". He can only do this leaning forward on his hands, but still. Pretty good for a 5 month old!

The "trying to crawl" position. Notice how his knees are under him. He hasn't quite figured out how to push up with his arms at the same time as his knees but last night in his crib, he was very close to having his arms extended and his knees under him. Crawling is not too far away now!
