I think this counts as achieving my goals...

This morning, in the high humidity and threat of rain with every step, Anne and I trudged to the store. I pulled her in her wagon and one the way back, pulled her and the groceries, as well as the backpack on my back full of groceries. Anne was a STAR! She really didn't complain at all, and no whining. Our only set back was on the way back when my water bottle, which she had put upright, continued to fall over with every step and she had to admonish it over and over saying "No wa wa!" Until I let her know that it wasn't the water's fault and it was going to keep falling over so why doesn't she just leave it down to begin with.

Then after her nap, we went to the gym. I biked there. Anne was not so into it. She shyed heavily away from getting on the back of my bike (which is odd since she's been on it before with no problems) and when we got to the gym, she burst into tears saying the ride was scary. However, the way back she was all smiles and did great.

So, to sum up:
-Walk to and from grocery store=2.5 miles
-Bike ride to and from clubhouse=1 mile
-Total on the elliptical during workout=4.25 miles
-Total distance covered today on foot, bike and cardio machine=7.75 miles
Pretty cool.
