Day one of new life, take 1

Today is my first day home with Anne where I would normally be working. It's going to be fine. Despite the forecast for rain, I'm really trying to psych myself up for a walk to the grocery store. I took the dog for a 1.5 mile walk last night and I did it leisurely. (I had lifted weights and was SUPER sore). I finished it in 25 minutes. So, I'm feeling good that the walk to the store is going to go smoothly. I'm a bit worried about Anne's entertainment in the wagon, the wagon holding up, and trying to haul a 2 year old and a wagon full of groceries home, but we'll see. Later this morning I'm going out to meet someone and having our pastor's wife come over to watch Anne. So, today is totally going to be fine. Tomorrow I'm having lunch with a friend. Yep, this staying home stuff is easy...

Ps. Despite me feeling like John would rather I work, he's been super supportive and has actually said a few times in the past few days that he would rather I stay home now and that he's excited I'm going to stay home. Time will tell; I'm not letting go of the possibility of still working...
