4 days in a row and first sentence

Today is the 4th day in a row Anne asked to use the potty and used it! Good girl! She was so determined too. It took 25 minutes for her to go and near the end I would ask her if she wanted to be all done and put on a diaper. She kept saying no and going right back to the potty. The candy completely motivates her!

Also, during the potty time, she said her first sentence!!!! WOW!! It was (humorously enough) "I no read it". She has been going through a "no" phase the past 2 days and I handed her a book on the potty and asked her if she wanted to read it. She said the above sentence. Wow!! She's also been doing really great at combining lots of words lately ("Winwee 'mon!" "Dank Ew Mommy", etc.) which is something I've been keeping my eye out for and recently she's started going up the stairs upright rather than crawling. All really good developmental milestones. It blows my mind that in 6 months or a year she will be a little girl, not a toddler. It is so fast yet also so far away. How do they grow up on us like that?

ohhhhh! so sweet! its so great that you are recording all of this, because once shes on to the next big thing, you will have forgotten about "thank you mommy". what a smart little girl!
