What I will miss

Anne will be one in 3 short weeks. There are times I look at her and see a toddler. There are other times I see things she does and I see a toddler. I will miss my precious little baby. Here are some of the things I will miss most:

1. Hour long nursing sessions
2. Nursing her to sleep, and her sleeping beside me while I get a midday break to watch TV
3. Lots of cuddling (mostly because she wasn't strong enough to know she could push up and look around-she's not a cuddler)
4. Her being able to sit in our laps contentedly while we watched TV.
5. Wearing her in the sling, like a little pea in a pod, all wrapped up and cozy against Mama

These are just some of the things I will miss about Anne being a baby. This is why God made us mamas the way He did, so that we can continue to populate the Earth. See this missing the baby stage makes me want another baby...as it does for probably 99.9% (or more) of the mamas out there.

"God blessed them and said to them, 'Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth...' "
Genesis 1:28

See how much she's changing?

Wow. . . she looks a lot like John in that top picture with the blue shirt. What a cutie.

Wow, yeah. I was gonna say what Kelly said.

Also, you will get more cuddles when she gets to the "I'm a big girl!" stage because as much as she will love it, it will also freak her out.
