Bologna Hotdogs
If any of you are parents, you understand how difficult it is to get much of anything done. I struggle with that a lot. When Anne is awake, I try and spend time playing with her or doing things with her next to me. So I can basically accomplish folding laundry and making the bed when she is awake. When Anne is asleep, I am either doing housework that keeps the house clean, like tidying things up, the dishes, etc or I am doing work from home for my job. I also dislike going out with her too much. It just seems to throw her off and we wind up not having a good day together. When we get back from going out, she has a hard time taking a nap and will cry for a longer time and sleep for a shorter time. So, I don't go out with her too often unless I really have to. Well, I has been a while since I have been to the store to grocery shop. John and I have been making it on what we have in the pantry and fridge. But, we have run out of a few essentials. Milk and bread, and our butter and eggs are getting low too. John loves to have cereal in the morning for breakfast. It's a staple for him. He's had a hard time without milk the past few days. But, I think things got really desperate when we were making our lunches for work and realized we were out of bread! Desperate for something quick to make, he and I made bologna sandwiches on hotdog buns. It's quite comical to picture us eating hotdog buns stuffed with bologna, cheese and mustard.
