Daddy Daughter Day
John took Anne for the entire day this Saturday. What an amazing husband I have. Thank you babe-the break was well deserved and much enjoyed! They left at 10 am and came home about 5 pm. Anne was super excited for her day and talked about it coming all week leading up to it. They started off with a walk around the forest preserve, lunch at Wendy's, special story time at the library, then a movie. Anne and John had a great time and I got tons and tons done off my to-do list at home. I love my kids more than words can say-as all mommies do-but I also loved my break. Once you have a toddler/preschooler and a baby, having just the baby is a vacation! He let me get stuff mailed out, put away, and computer things done without constantly whining asking to be played with. Here are some pictures of Anne and John's day out:

I've always kind of thought that Anne looks a lot like you April, but in the first picture, I can't believe how much she looks like John!
