Toddler time

Remember when it took Anne an hour and a half to finish her lunch? The other day she tore apart her room during naptime. I mean tore...it...apart. Every single item (and I mean every...single...item) on her shelves she pulled off onto the floor, and it's a big book case that holds nearly every toy in her room. She also decided she needed to complete the task and threw every single stuffed animal she owned onto the floor. I decided I would not help her one bit to clean up-perhaps a little natural consequence would help her to choose not to do this again (side note: it did not). Total time to clean up her room: 1 hour. Total time mom could have done it: 10 minutes.
