Plainfield Peanut Returns

Today the Plainfield Peanut returned to see if she could see her shadow and accurately predict the coming of spring. Much to everyone's disappointment, the little Peanut saw her shadow and quickly ran inside. Unfortunately that means 6 more weeks of winter.

On a related information, the Peanut's prediction was backed up by the local "Pean-ette" who is currently residing in her mother's womb. Even with much coaxing the Pean-ette could not be convinced to come out and see it's shadow, thus affirming the Peanut's prediction of 6 more weeks of winter.
