Today I went to sling party hosted by my friend Farrah. I had basically thought I had my baby carrier needs covered for #2 with a Maya Wrap ring sling and an Ergo carrier. I was wrong. Farrah showed us a Mei Tai (pronounced May Tie) baby carrier, which is similar to the Ergo, but SO much easier to get a kid in and out of. It's also a lot more flexible and less structured, which is one aspect of the Ergo I don't really like. (Ergo and Mei Tai are similar type carriers.) So...I've spend some time researching and looking online today and I think I'm gonna sell my Ergo and buy a Mei Tai instead for our little pumpkin. Here's a random picture of a random, anonymous baby to show you what the Mei Tai looks like. Sigh...I thought I could leave behind the obsessions of AP contraptions I could buy for #2, but I guess not...

It is an obsession... and it only gets worse the more you get! :) I will be in touch about the MT. I think you'll love it!
