Letting her go

Yesterday we went on our 5th trip in less than a month to a Pumpkin Farm. This time my sister and Andrina and Anne and I revisited the pumpkin farm we had gone to at night. It was fun and Anne could certainly do more during the day than at night! One of the things she was able to do was a cow train ride pulled by a tractor. I let her go on it by herself because there was no way this pregnant mama was going to squeeze herself into a tiny cow car and ride on the bumpy road with her. I was nervous because the ride was about 3 minutes and all of those 3 minutes she was pulled out of sight. Still, I figured it would be ok-and it was. I strapped her in tight and waited anxiously for her to return. And she did and she did great. She was very excited and told me that it was bumpy and that "I sat down. I didn't stand up." That was the first time I've really let her go....

So this isn't a picture of the cow ride, but seriously, look at that face she's making!

On the cow ride, about to fly away for the first time...

Ps. If you notice that her hair looks flat and/or greasy....yeah, it's because she got into the Vaseline again right before we were to leave!

Great pictures! You have to email them to me. I wish I had remembered my camera yesterday. Congrats on your important "letting go" experience. Anne looks like she really enjoyed the cow ride.
