Uber Healthy Baby Girl ~or~ Green Smoothie Baby
Anne's been drinking green smoothies with us for the past few weeks now! Yay for Anne and uber healthy crazy families! I found a way that I like the smoothies much much much better. I start with a base of OJ instead of a base of milk. And I do one cup per person (except Anne-she just shares with us.) Half the time I add about a tablespoon of honey. This makes the smoothies just a bit more sweet but not as thick-closer to a glass of juice. They are just so much more enjoyable to me and go down so much better. The absolute plus is that Anne drinks them and has no idea it's not her normal AM juice. With the old way, she might take a sip or two or we'd even pour her a glass then have to bug the heck out of her to drink it. This new way, I actually pour her an entire sippy cup full and she just sits and watches "Arthur" and drinks her green smoothie. Go green smoothie baby, go!
