Seriously funny stuff

Today for lunch, Anne got to have a rice crispy treat for dessert. She was really slowing down about halfway through and commented she might be all done. I LOVE rice crispy treats; in fact at a training for work once, they had 4 mixed in with cookies for dessert and I literally ran as soon as they let us serve ourselves for lunch and grabbed one up. Anyway, back to the current story. So Anne was pretty much done with her rice crispy treat and I asked her if I could have it. She said no and then said that daddy could have it. I said something to the effect of "What? I gave birth to you and carried you for 9 months and nurtured you after your birth and you're going to let daddy have it?" She looked at me with the sweetest most innocent face, then outstretched her hand to daddy and said in an equally sweet and innocent voice "Here daddy." Funny, funny stuff.
