John and I watched Celebrity Apprentice this season. It was really good. We fell in love with Trace Adkins as a person, whom we had never even heard of before. On the finale, he sane his latest song. It's my new favorite. (Nicole, I'm sure you'll appreciate it-both for content and style.) Enjoy!

I LOVE TRACE ADKINS as I'm a huge country music fan! The radio station US99 calls and speaks with him a lot. I also love this song. It really speaks to me and I feel like it was written for me!
I also watched the apprentice this season. He seems to be such a wonderful person in real life. Too bad the jerk won and he didn't.
strange, i read the lyrics and felt like they were sort of depressing....i find myself always trying to convince myself that my life is wayyyy better than when i was 18, or 23. and really, it is. im healthier, thinner, and more fulfilled...the depressing part being, of course, that yeah, it really was great to have all those freedoms back then, and we will never get them back. even when are kids are out of the house and our lives slow down, our minds will still be on them all of the time. which, when you think about it AGAIN, isnt really depressing...in the way that it opens your life up to love and commitment that you thought you would never know. i dont like country music, but i do like that this song made me just think that. amazing stuff...you should print out and FRAME each comment i leave on your blog.
