Annoyance

Yes, I am that woman. I am that woman who tells her husband to not load the dishwasher because he does it wrong. And yes, there is a wrong way to do it. I'm totally fine if he loads it and washes the dishes in there immediately. Its when he loads it halfway (plus leaving dishes on the counter) and then is done. Then I open the dishwasher and not only are there dirty dishes in there, dirty dishes on the sink, but they are loaded wrong so I have to unload it, then reload it, which is more work than if he had just left all the dishes on the sink to begin with...

Ditto. Things men just cannot seem to do right: loading the dishwasher, washing laundry, drying laundry, folding laundry, putting away laundry, grocery shopping, preparing baby's solid food meals, putting baby down for a nap on time...wait, that's my husband, no wonder I do everything around my house!

I know, doesn't it seem sometimes that if something is done different than our way that it's "wrong"? Certainly my way of loading isn't right necessarily and his way isn't wrong, but sometimes it sure seems like it!

I will say for the record I am really lucky and blessed to have a husband who tries so hard to help out and alleviate stress for me. Even though the dishwasher thing bothers me, he is a good husband who deserves public praise. :) Thanks John, I love you!

Please note that it is also considered a "no no" if I load the dishwasher will ALL of the dishes, clean the counters, and yet do not run the dishwasher if it wasn't full enough.

john, i cannot do it right either. my husband is very often the unload-before-its-run-because-its-loaded-wrong guy. makes me feel really stupid.
