Big Doggie

For those of you curious about how Winnie is doing, she's doing great (eh hem, Herb...). She has calmed down a lot since the spaying. She's still crazy, still literally bounces off the walls, but now there is a chance she'll actually lay down inside, whereas before, that never happened. She still gets really excited about people and dogs, but will calm down after several minutes. She also will be able to sit still while they pass, with a little help from the pinch collar, but before she would still go nuts. She got her stitches out yesterday and weighs in at a whopping 47 lbs!!! To give you perspective, we still keep in contact with the breeder; her sibblings weigh closer to 30-35 lbs and her mother is full grown and only weighs 62 lbs (an average Lab). Winnie has only 15 lbs to go before she passes her mother. She is gonna be huge! I'm nervous for while we go on vacation and board her. I hope she isn't too sad and does lose too much weight. We have her playing with other dogs every other day so I hope that somewhat helps. Here are some pictures of our big puppy. (Ignore the woman in gray in the first picture...I wasn't prepared...)
