First Word

Yesterday Anne said her first word! Mind you she can "say" about 5 or 6 words, but they are incomplete and not clear. (Ex: Da for Ducky, Da Do for thank you, etc.) But yesterday she said her first, clear, complete word! Drum roll please....Doggy!! Here's how it sounded from her sweet little lips: Daw Dee. So cute! She had spent the afternoon with family friends and they have 2 dogs. Like most kids she loves animals, so the time with these dogs and time with our dogs prompted her to say her first word. This morning while eating breakfast, she kept pointing out the window at Winnie every few minutes saying those precious syllables. Before I know it, she'll be speaking sentences!
