We bought Belle together the weekend we got home from our honeymoon. She was an amazing kitten. She was sweet, playful and so much fun. She and Elanor got along great. Belle kept all of us on our toes. Unfortunately when Anne arrived, Belle changed for the worse. Now she no longer played, instead she batted at us and hissed at our guests. That would have been tolerable but unfortunately she developed a horrible habit of pooping and peeing on rugs. Anytime a rug was laid out, within a few hours, she would poop on it. One might say "Don't have rugs", but I said, "I will not let a cat dictate how I live-I am the superior one after all...being human and all..." John and I searched high and low for a place to give her away to and after about 6 places that said they were full, we placed her in an animal shelter about 15 miles from our house.
Although it was sad to say goodbye to her, it was a long time coming. The last month or so that we had her, she hid all the time, running away or hissing when she saw anyone, including us. She stopped playing with Elanor and stopped playing altogether. Our hope is that a nice childless couple will adopt her and be able to give her love and attention and play with her abundantly. We also hope this couple does not have rugs and that Belle's pooping and peeing will cease with a new family.
Goodbye Belle, Best wishes.
Love your first family,
John, April and Anne

I'm so sorry for the way things turned out. It must be hard, even if it's for the best. I had no idea Belle had been having so many problems. I hope Elanor is doing ok. Hugs to you...
oh...that's too bad
