My little girl is growing up

The past few days Anne has started a new "trick". In the mornings and in the middle of the night feedings, John and I have found her on her tummy. So, my little girl now can roll very proficently onto her tummy and off it at will. John and I think we might need to lower the crib mattress or at the very least, start putting her down and raising up the side so just in case she figures out how to pull herself to a stand (litterally) overnight, she will be nice and safe. Sigh, this rolling over to her tummy is the first step towards independence. Can't she be little forever?
