First of Many

Well, John has been after me for some time now to start a blog, and here it is! Hopefully this will be the first of many posts I am able to do for our family. Let me just start by explaining, very briefly, who the Atwoods-Family of 3, are. We are John, April and Anne Atwood. John and I met in April 2004, married in May 2005, and had our beautiful daughter, Anne, in April 2006. Phew! What's in store for us next spring? How about some relaxation and no major life changes for a change, huh? John works at a company called Tribune Direct Marketing. He is an account rep there. April (me) works at a place called Teen Parent Connection. I work there part time as a Family Support Worker, visiting teenaged moms on a weekly basis to talk about parenting and life issues and to be a support for them. And Anne is 3.5 months old. She can do a lot of things. She can smile, coo, bat at toys, follow toys, roll to her side, grab her toes, make noises, hold a rattle, suck her thumb and fingers, and many many other things. So, that is the short of the long of who we are. Enjoy catching up with our family on a regular basis and in between working part time, raising our baby, and living life, I'll try and blog every once in a while too so everyone can be up to date on us.
