With Anne, I think I got exactly 3 stretch marks, late in pregnancy. Even though I don't know how many I had, they were completely unnoticeable and faded beautifully. This baby...no. I turned 28 weeks today and to celebrate the 3rd trimester I thought I'd permanently "tattoo" my body with stretch marks to mark the occasion. As you can see in the picture, I've already got several lovely little marks and I'm sure there are many more to come-as baby is going to do most of his growing the next 10+ weeks.On a funny note, yesterday I woke up, looked in the mirror and swore I had grown overnight. When John got home, I showed him and he said (I think to quote): "Holy Cow!" Today on the phone he mentioned that he couldn't believe how big I had gotten overnight-that it seemed like my belly had doubled in size. I guess it's true, kiddos can and do grow overnight!

Maybe we'll get lucky and some treatment to get rid of stretch marks for good will be developed in the near future. It could happen!
